Amberly's 1st Birthday Party, Part I

Hello all!  This Saturday was Amberly's 1st birthday party!  What a special day it was!  It felt like our wedding almost, everyone we love so much all in one room celebrating, except this time it was for our sweet little Amberly!  We had so much fun, and no disasters really, it was a fabulous day!  This week will probably be all posts of the party considering I took 200 pics and Brandi took so many pics too!  So pardon me if they're a little disheveled or out of order, etc lol.....

I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to so many people....Mom for all of her sewing and creativity, Devoni for her party tips and suggestions, Dad for bringing me Starbucks lots last week, Kelly and Sara for all of their cooking Saturday morning {they were super chefs} and the past few months of helping me decide on things,  Jamie for letting me vent about party things/bumps in the road,  Brandi for coming in all the way from the Woodlands to take pics {Can't WAIT to see what she got} and especially to Danny for letting me be a semi-crazy person last week :)   I love you all so much and her party would not have been a success with out ya'll!

Today Danny and I were supposed to go to the Texans game, but instead, he and Jason went and they treated Kelly and I to massages!  It was Heaven!  Exactly what I needed after such a busy past few days!  Love u so much hubs!

Now on to the pics.....there's a lot of them lol shocking I know......

Amberly's 12 month picture we took Friday afternoon for her photo banner.....it took us 14 tries before getting this great shot

Friday night Matt and Sara came in from Austin and we made marshmallow pops for the party - they were SUPER easy....just melt some white chocolate, add food coloring, dip, then add sprinkles

Good morning pretty monkey!!!!  Saturday morning in her birthday jammies

Outside of the house with poms and lollipops

We moved Amberly's old couch out of Danny's office {we couldn't get it in her nursery in the house} and put it in the dinning room for more seating...mom made pillows that matched her bday dress

Amberly's going home outfit, hospital door sign, and our 1st family picture

The candy table....mom and I can't take all the credit, we got the yellow and white fabric idea from a DIY post on A Blissful Nest blog - I fell in love with it!

The whole set up!  We transformed our dining room by switching out our green PB curtains for white and covering our window with the fabric.

Tissue Paper A

another table shot

and another one lol......

here's our 1 disaster......I LOVED her cake.....however, I am not sure why there's some pastel colors on there?  I know it seems like a small thing, but it kind of bothered me, so I complained to Mom and friends and got over it lol
Marshmallow pops

Candy jars and the labels I made

Her sugar cookies and candy bags

Her hat, and highchair cover that mom made, and her bib we monogrammed and I rhinestoned

our buffet in our dining room {to the left of the candy table}.....We changed out our candles, covered our normal picture, and the 1 is the fabric of her birthday dress.

Photofetti - LOVE this stuff!

Amberly's smash cake!

Tomorrow {hopefully} more pics to come.....hope you all had a great weekend!!!!
