13 months

Our monthly stickers do not come in numbers past 12 so please don't mind my home made marker version lol  I don't know how long I will keep doing the numbers, but I love them, so for now, I want to keep up with them.  Here's what Ambs has been up to lately....

"na na na na" means food....so we think.

If you say "kiss kiss" or pucker up, she will give you a nice juicy kiss

She's walking everywhere now {mostly on her tip toes} 

She stands up on her own when she falls or sees something she wants to pick up

Takes notice when we tell her "no"

Eats everything and we're down to 2 bottles a day {morning and night}

She never meets a stranger and will go to anyone....we're going to have to really teach her about stranger danger when she gets older

She shakes her head no, but doesn't know that it means no - we're trying to teach her to nod yes

Sometimes when we say "touchdown" she raises her arms

She can get off the couch and bed by herself

When you say "GO GATORS"  she gets excited and waves her arms

Talks on the phone and says "a-doh" {or something like that} for hello

She blows the hair out of her eyes when it's in her face

If you say "arms up" she knows she's getting a change of clothes and raises her arms

Ambs is always so happy....if she's cranky she's usually sleepy

Prima Ballerina

Amberly is walking....just not flat footed yet.  She looks like a little Ballerina on her tippy toes ALL the time.  She just will not get off those toes.  Hopefully the shoes will help.  Here she is in all her Ballerina glory!  I think we need to get her in ballet pointe class asap! :)

24 hour bug

Monday afternoon Danny, Amberly and I went to San Antonio to be with Danny while he visited a few clients til Wednesday.  We got in town about 6:30 and went to dinner at Rosario's.  It was yummy....guac, white wine chicken enchiladas, some great food.  About 12:30 Danny wakes me up and says "Babe, I think I am going to throw up"....ok, go throw up and maybe you will feel better.....NOT.....Danny was throwing up until about 5:30!  Poor thing!  It was horrible!  I was awake, Ambs was awake, and Danny was sick...it was a LONG night!  Finally it seemed he was done and we all went to bed.  {The only good thing about that night was that Amberly actually slept with me while Danny was sick....she hasn't cuddled like that or slept with us since she was like 4 months old, it was Heaven}

We woke up and then I started feeling sick....great.....so Danny still not feeling well and we are all exhausted, he canceled all of his meetings and we headed home.  I drove home so Danny could rest, but by the time we got home I was NOT feeling good at all.  I called my mom to see if she could come over ASAP and help with Ambs and she did.  We put Ambs down for a nap and took my temp and it was at 101.9....What have the Wardlows gotten in to?  My mom stayed over til about 6 and by 6:30 Ambs was ready for bed, we all were.  Danny and I were in bed watching 30 by 30 and were asleep by 7:45 lol  It was amazing!  Amberly slept the whole night {thank goodness}

She got up at 8:15 this morning and Danny and I are back to 100%!!!!!  WAHOO  We are not sure what we had; if it was food poisoning or caught a bug that's been going around, but whatever it was it was not fun at all and we are so glad Ambs didn't get it {I hope I am not jinxing myself}.

Monday morning we finally got Amberly some shoes....she still tries to walk only on her tippy toes, but she's getting better. 

We are going to Florida tomorrow to go see Gigi and Papa Joe!  I am so excited and have lots to get packed!  I have a ton to blog about {Nikki's beautiful wedding, Kane's adorable party and our fun play date} but those will have to wait til after our trip!  Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Gigi and Papa Joe Came to See Us

A few weeks ago Gigi and Papa Joe came from Florida to visit us.  We always love having them in town and we are so excited to get to see them again next week!  I need to just change my blog to "the Wardlow Family in Pictures"......  :)

Thursday Gigi, Ambs, Mom and I went shopping - we were waiting on the most unusual worker at Macy's to see if they had any platters for my Christmas china....she was an interesting woman, to say the least

After dinner I infiltrated "boys night" to go see Jackass 3D....Danny's grandpa is the cutest and he loves all the silly boy movies, esp Borat haha {Papa Joe, Ryan and Danny}

Friday Papa Joe and Danny put up the fence around the pool at Devoni's - with the semi-walker we have now, this is a MUST

Saturday we all went to Texian Market Days at the George Ranch - Ambs looked so cute in her plaid dress

We had so much fun with Gigi and Papa Joe, that Amberly wanted to go home with them :)  We will see you guys soon and I am SO excited to FINALLY go to the "Swamp"

Here Piggy Piggy

Halloween this year was so fun!  Last Halloween was Amberly's 1st day out in public ever and we went to the Domain in Austin for lunch and sat away from everyone outside in case she cried but she did great and this year was SO different!  It was so fun {even if I felt like I was on my death bed - so sick}......

Sunday I was still not feeling well so Danny went grocery shopping and took Amberly to grandma's for a little while.  After that, Amberly and Devoni went to Meredith's to play with Eli and watch the guys cut down a tree to make way for their new pool they're putting in.  How cute is the dress Mom made for Ambs for Halloween!

We got Amberly dressed a little early for Halloween, no one was outside yet, but this year it was pretty much all about getting pics, not candy lol  She was such a cute little piggy!

I am finally feeling better - I never get sick so it was not fun!  Danny has been on daddy duty the past several days and dragged me out of bed to vote yesterday and I am finally back to normal! 

I have so much to blog about but so much to do too!  Nikki's wedding is this weekend and little Kane's party too so lots to get ready for!  Hope yall are having a great week so far!
