WAY behind wrap-up

My goodness, I am super duper behind on this blog thing.  This post has been in creation since Monday, woops.....This week has been ok.  We've had a snotty baby all week {this weather really has her allergies all in a fit}, I've worked twice and tonight hubs has a date night set up for JUST US TWO!  We are very fortunate to have a great social live with our friends and family, but we rarely get time to do things just us.  So I am very excited to see what all he has planned!

Last Saturday we went to our friends Adam and Julia's house for their daughter Layne's 1st Birthday Party!

It was a hot pink and zebra theme and was super cute!

This was just laying on the couch.....Adam and Julia had a surprise for everyone!!!!  YAY!!!!!  Layne's going to be a big sister!  We are so happy for them!  I swear, everyone and their mom is pregnant right now!

They have 3 dogs, all different sizes, and this one {forgot her name} is HUGE!  Ambs was fascinated with her.  I think she's an American Bulldog?!

We had to leave early, so Layne opened our gifts first.  Ambs was pointing at something?! 

Sunday we went to lunch with Ryan and Cara at Pappasito's so Ambs got a flower balloon from the balloon lady!  She's so dang cute running away from Dad!

Lately Ambs has become a champ climber.  She climbs everything......chairs, beds, the couch, tables....and the ledge in our living room......{please pay no attention to the BIG mess she creates every morning}

Dr + Dress

Tuesday we took Ambs to the Dr for her 15 month check up.  15 months!!!!  Where does the time go?  She is 23.14 lbs and 31.5 inches which puts her in the 70-90th percentile.  She did great through the whole appointment, until the shots.  Poor thing, it was by far the worst shot experience so far.  She hated them!  She usually just lets out one cry, but not that day.  She cried until we checked out but then was fine.

Tuesday night we went to Pappasito's with Mom, Dad, Jim and Mia to celebrate Jim's last day of treatment at MD Anderson.   His last day of treatment was yesterday, so they're heading back to Colorado today.  It has been very nice to have them around and I love hearing him and Dad reminisce and hear all their crazy stories.

Devoni and Tom went to Puerta Vallarta for the weekend to see Danny's brother TJ and his gf Gaby.  They watched Ambs for us while we were at dinner since they hadn't seen her for 4 days lol.  TJ and Gaby sent back the cutest little beach dresses for Amberly.  She got this cute purple one and a red/orange one - she's going to look so cute in Hawaii in them!

Thank you Uncle TJ and Aunt Gaby for my dresses!  I love them!  {I was holding a sign saying thanks but decided to crinkle it}  Love u!

Danny went to San Antonio yesterday for business - and he took my dad with him lol  They're so cute together!  Dad believe it or not has never been to the Alamo, so he's "sight-seeing" while Danny's in meetings.  They're coming home tonight and can't wait to hear how everything went.  

Oh, and how about the Texas vs. A&M basketball game last night?!  TEXAS FIGHT!

Weekend in Austin

This weekend we went to Austin for Wesam and Hala's after wedding reception.  It was so nice to be back and see everybody!  We miss them all so much and 2 days wasn't nearly enough time to fully catch up.  We started our Saturday by going to Zach and Ashley's for the Steelers game. 

Baby Tyson has gotten so big!  Guess that's what babies do!  He's 4 months and is just the cutest little thing!

Wesam and Hala got married Dec 23 in Lebanon, so this was their after wedding reception.  We are so happy for them!  The pretty girls - miss them so much!

Danny, Matt and Jason and another guy all gave speeches.  After Danny's debacle of a speech at Jason's wedding, he def did his prep work and delivered a great speech!

Jason's mom Sharon watched Ambs for us {actually we put her to bed before we left so she just hung out lol}  Thank you so much Sharon!  The next morning Brady wanted to play with Ambs.  He's so good with her and will be a great big brother to baby Giuseppe :)

We love getting to go to Austin and seeing everyone - we miss yall so much and we had a great time this weekend!  xoxox

Guess WHO.......

is PREGNANT?!?!  We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly excited for Sara and Matt and their new little bundle of joy they will be welcoming in July....her due date is 1 day before their 9 month wedding anniversary!  I've had to keep this a secret since November and it's been killing me haha!  This weekend we were in Austin and she gave me the ok to blog about it.

She is in her 2nd trimester and doing great!  We are also so happy they're using our amazing Dr. Cowan!  He's the best so we know she and "Giuseppe" are in great hands.  We call the baby Giuseppe because they went to Italy for their honeymoon so of course the baby needed an Italian nick name.  The week we found out, mom made her 2 nursery hats that say "Made in Italy". So funny, this weekend Sara said she's sure the baby was made in Italy bc she's only craving Italian food lol

12 weeks.....No pictures, No pictures!!!!  My Dr.  has changed things up a bit and is doing 3d sonograms now for normal visits, so cool!

Matt and Sara are SO great with Amberly and we can't wait for them to be parents - they're going to be amazing!  Sara, make sure you keep Giuseppe cooking til we get back from Hawaii!  Love yall!
