"We're Yachting" Part I

Hey guys!  We are back  in the land of sugar after 6 fabulous day in the Caribbean.  Today was my 1st day back at PB and one of my co-workers goes "So you were on a cruise?!"  and as nicely and tactfully as I could say it, I politely said, "no, we were on a yacht."  LOL  "ohhhhhhh well, welcome back to the common folk!"  she said.  I told her it wasn't like that at all, but that yes, this was the TRIP OF A LIFETIME and we are VERY lucky to have friends like Jason and Chelsea, who invited us with them.

You all know how much I love pics, so a 6 day trip = about 500 pics.  So, I am going to split the pics up into 5 posts.....hope that's ok.  Here we go......Let the trip begin.

Thursday morning was an EARLY one....our alarms went off at 3am.  Driving down 59 with only 1 other car on the road was a little creepy, but we made it and met Chelsea's mom and step dad, Debbie and Eric at the airport.  They were on our flilghts with us so that made it a lot more fun!
When we landed in Miami at 9 am, what did we do?!  We headed straight to the bar....normal right?!  :)  We had a 3 hour layover, so we also ended up with a $90 tab.  Debbie and Eric are 2 of the nicest people, it's always so enjoyable sitting and talking with them.
Before boarding in Miami we went to get water, etc and Danny found this magazine....hence the "we're yachting" title....we said it all week lol

We were on the plane about to take off and the guy and white came on - he was ENORMOUS!  The biggest guy either one of us had ever seen!  Danny later told me "Chelsea, if he tried to take you, I'd let him"  haha thanks babe.  When he got off the plane he was greeted by a person with an NFL bag, go figure.
During the flight to St Thomas!
We're landing!!!!  It really looked like we were about to fly into the water, it was so close to the runway.
We caught a taxi to go to Yacht Haven Grande to meet Jason's dad Kelly and step mom Ronda, who were on the yacht with their friends the week prior.
Kelly met us when we got there and showed us the way. SO EXCITED to be there!
 There she is!  The Vitesse!
After hanging out with Ronda and Kelly for a bit, Captain Adrian showed us around the yacht.  It was AMAZING!  It's a 4 bedroom, 5 bath yacht, plus rooms for the staff of 4.
This is what you saw when you first walked in.  The living room and dining room.
 There's our Captain
Our room was the twin room and Debbie and Eric were next to us.
This is the kitchen, and there's Michelle the chef, she was AWESOME!  She's never been to cooking school but she made the most delicious meals EVER!  I am devoting a whole post to food...yes, I am.
This is where the Captain sits
The upper deck had a hot tub and 2 jet skis.  The British Virgin Islands don't allow jet skis so we didn't use them.  The boat also had a "tender" which is a smaller 37 foot boat, that is connected to it, you'll see that later too when the guys went fishing.  We were in the hot tub pretty much every night, it was Heaven!
This is Yacht Haven Grande.  Yachts and Cruises that come to St Thomas dock here.
Jason and Chelsea had a later flight so we went to dinner with Kelly, Ronda, Debbie and Eric.  We had the best Mojito Martinis and food! The sunset was so pretty with all the boats!
We went back to the yacht and watched the shocking American Idol where Pia got voted off.....WHAT was that?!  Anyway, Jason and Chelsea had some delays and didn't get in til late, I had already gone to bed.  :(

The next morning we woke up and headed to Peter Island......
