Story Time

This morning Devoni and I took Amberly to the library for story time.  It was Amberly's first time so of course she had to look super cute!  My camera is still with Kelly, so here's some iPhone photos.

Today's story time theme was "Daddy".   The librarian read books about dads, we sang songs, etc

Amberly has never been around so many kids before.  She was so curious about all of them.  She would just walk up to them and smile and say hi.....or try to steal their sippy cup

See all the kiddos sitting patiently in their mom's laps?!  Nope, not our girl.  With parents like Danny and I who would never sit still as kids (according to our parents) I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

She said "HI" to everyone.  Devoni said she sounded like a little indian lol 

Said HI again

laughed while not listening to the stories

and then planted several kisses on this sweet little boy.  Nope, it's not daddy, Kane or Eli....I heard his mom say to her other friend mom "never thought he'd get his first kiss at story time, AND she's so pretty too"  haha

 After story time was over, it was craft time.  It was a card that looked like a button down shirt to color and glue a blue felt tie on. 

Ambs colored, but liked to hold the crayons more.  Unfortunately, the card did not make it home with us.  :(  I think I accidentally left it in the chairs we were reading in afterwards.  

We had lots of fun this am and can't wait to do it again next Thursday.
