Monsoon Monday

Yesterday Danny's mom came over for dinner since Danny's in Indiana this week for his last week of training {WAHOO} - and after a long 1st day teaching at her new school we were going to have a relaxing night of salmon, wine-a-rita's, and Bachelor Pad.  6:00 rolls around and in comes a MAJOR storm - I mean, trees flying, feel like you're in a car wash kind of storm.  By 6:10 we were left powerless.....so our night went down the drain. 

We made salads and watched the rain and when it stopped we dragged over all of our things, and our pack n play and went over to her house to see if she had power - she did not.  So we walked around to see all the damage and there were trees, and leaves everywhere. It was much worse over by our house compared to their side of the subdivision.   After coming back by our house about 8:30 or so we let Kingsley out and headed back to Devoni's....and her power was back on!  YAY!  We had a girls night at Grandma's! The news said we had 60-70 mph winds, and I totally believe that!
