football season is here

What a weekend!  We had so much fun!  First off, I'd like to announce the birth of Tyson Thomas Jackson, born Friday, September 3rd at 5:04 pm 7lbs 8oz 21.5 inches....We are so happy for them and can not wait to go visit them and meet the other little monkey on Friday in Austin!

Friday night Carla and Gary came in from Austin and came over to our house with Devoni that night to catch up.  We haven't seen them in such a long time.  Saturday morning, we all went to Devoni's before going to the sports bar to watch the Florida game.  They brought Amberly her 1st birthday gift....a new school bus.  Ambs is going to have to get better at her gift unwrapping skills before October.

We then all drove to the sports bar where the Houston Gator Club meet - and boy, now I understand the obsession the Wardlows have with Gator football.  I have never seen so many Gators....ever!  Tom is over in India watching the games on the internet and missing football season is probably one of the things he hates the most about being over there.

The whole time we were there I kept thinking about the movie Sweet Home Alabama's quote "You have a baby......in a bar...."  haha but it was non-smoking, there were lots of other little kiddos there and even a little toddler in the cheerleader outfit we have ordered for Ambs for the game we're going to in Florida in November.....Lauren, it will be Florida v South Carolina!  :)

When we got there, "Albert" was all blown up and ready for the game.....she DID NOT LIKE HIM one bit....She never cries or gets scared really so it was kind of surprising, hence Devoni's face lol  poor thing, so we left Albert alone.

No sun for you MVB  (Magda Van Bergen ha!)  Sara and Matt's wedding is less than 40 days away so she got a chemical peel and can't be in the sun!  lol

Wardlows and the soon to be VBs :)

our seats....were horrible....but we left at halftime to get back to Sugar Land and the Holloways so it was ok.

Saturday night we made it home about 10 pm and all of the below ppl {The Holloways} were up at Devoni's playing LCR - so fun!  Ryan stayed the night with us and he and Danny stayed up watching Hard Knocks and caught up.  Sunday morning we all had breakfast over there and hung out and talked about Ryan and Cara's upcoming wedding in Hawaii next summer....we are SO excited for that!  They all left back to Austin but Ryan stayed and spent the day and night with us.  We grilled for dinner and had Devoni over too.  We had a great weekend.

Randomly Sunday night Ambs wanted to play dress up - she pulled out these angel wings from her drawer that we were going to use for her newborn pics but didn't.

  3. You are going to have such a blast at the Florida game- start practicing your Gator chomp! I skipped on ever driving down to watch us play the Gators...you know, because I'd like watching games where we'd actually win. :) Who knows, maybe this season we'll give them a run for their money!

Wife props to you for sporting an A&M shirt at the game- no amount of love would get me in Clemson orange!
