Last night we went to Pappadeaux for mom's birthday dinner. I remember going there for so many of her birthday's when I was little - I would only order either an ice cream sundae for dinner or occasionally a shrimp cocktail, that's all I would ever eat there and it was always SO COLD in there we would tie their napkins together to cover my arms lol.....man was last night a different story! I have not eaten there in years, and since then I have actually learned to really like seafood. We had such a wonderful family night, and we are all so lucky to be able to share these times with each other.

"hmmmm what should I have for dinner?"
"So many choices"
seafood fondue, oysters and crab fingers - SO GOOD!
Danny went and told the waiter it was mom's birthday - I thought they'd just give her dessert with a candle in it, I did NOT think they would actually come over and sing....."This is your birthday song, it won't last very long" LOL she was kinda embarrassed, but was a good sport

It was such a wonderful evening! This weekend we have lots planned! Danny's good friend Ryan's family is all coming in town from Austin so we will all be over at Devoni's most of the weekend. Saturday morning we are going with Devoni to a sports bar {yep, Ambs is going in her Gator gear...lol} where the Houston Gator Club meets to watch the Florida game. About halftime Danny and I will leave for BCS {Bryan College Station} for the A&M / SFA game. Last time Danny went to BCS to watch football practice he got Ambs and I an A&M t-shirt....I guess I have to be a total traitor to my alma mater that day but I will support A&M and my hubs when they're not playing Texas. Matt and Sara will be there too and we were with them last weekend so it will be awesome to see them 2 weekends in a row! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Amberly is beyond adorable! Your dinner looked so fun and it's so nice that Ambs gets to spend so much time with BOTH of her loving grandmothers! What a lucky and incredibly loved little girl!
