wordy wednesday

Hello all - wahoo!!!!  You can all relax, I did not pass out or die while working out last night lol!  I can't even remember the last time I really had a good work out....prob early in 2008 {yes, it's been that long}.  Devoni, her friend Gail and I went to the Lifestyles at Oak Bend facility and joined the "Biggest Winner Challenge".  It's an 8 week program that includes diet and exercise {kind of like circuit training I think, cardio then 2 machines, then repeat repeat repeat} and there are 2 teams that compete with each other.  In the end there is an individual and a team winner.  Meredith, Devoni's bff, won the individual prize last session and LOOKS GREAT!  She will def be a source of our motivation and inspiration!  There are "weigh ins and measurement taking" every 2 weeks as well.  Our goal is to go every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Within these next 8 weeks I am in 2 weddings, my birthday, Amberly's birthday and a trip to Florida, so I am excited to drop some lbs before all these events! Will keep you guys posted.

After working out, Danny met us at Devoni's with Ambs and we had salmon, broccoli, rice and a salad for dinner....it was very yummy!  Ambs had her first taste of salmon, this child is like a bottomless pit....she will eat anything and everything you put in front of her!  She also did 2 "new" things....I will only write about 1 since Devoni has pics of the other on her camera.....

While Devoni was out getting her mail with Ambs {one of Ambs fav things to do} her neighbors pulled up and wanted to say hello to Amberly.  Amberly had the mail keys in her hand, and the lady put her hand out I guess and Amberly dropped them in there.....hmmm that's cute, she's never done that before.  Then her husband did it too.....she did it again.....Devoni came inside and said "guys, watch this!"  Amberly gave Danny and I both the keys when we asked for them....it was so dang cute!  She was so proud of herself that she knew to give them to us when we held out our hand.  We then tried it with other things; some of her toys, the remote, etc.  She gave us those things too - it was really cute and a new game I guess we can play. 

Last night, by TOTAL surprise, Ambs woke up at 2:30 AM!  ummm what is that about?  She hasn't done that in ages!  She was only up long enough for me to put the paci back in, but totally caught us by surprise!

This morning she woke up about 8:35 with some MAJOR bed head......lol
